ChIMERA Plus aims at transferring ChIMERA process and its methodology for the growth of the regional Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) subsectors promoting the sustainable urban development in new MED territories: Spain, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

To achieve the goal, the two Italian Giver partners, Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region and Creative Apulia Cluster Association, work as mentors for adapting and transferring knowledge, tools and expertise to Receiver partners. They also help them in fostering the CCIs role in the transition process towards an urban sustainability and in supporting the development of regional and local CCI sectors.

The coordinated and continuous collaboration between Giver and Receiver MED regions, fueled by a mentoring process to ensure the alignment of ChIMERA methodology with the New European Bauhaus initiative and its transferring to the stakeholders, represents a model for the promotion and strengthening of CCI role in achieving EU green deal objectives in the MED programme area.
