ChIMERA project returns with a Plus to transfer methodology and connect CCIs unleashing the creative potential of CCIs in sustainable urban development.
On 27th May Interreg Med Programme’s Monitoring Committee launched ChIMERA Plus Project - ChIMERA for Urban Sustainability. This project aims to capitalise the knowledge gained during the project ChIMERA – Innovative Cultural and Creative Clusters in the Med Area with the added value due to methodology transfer and CCIs connection of the involved countries unleashing the creative potential of CCIs in sustainable urban development.
The kick-off meeting event held on zoom last 26th July represented a great opportunity to inaugurate the new project attended by all the partners and the Interreg Med Managing Authority.
The ChIMERA Plus project intends to promote Mediterranean innovation capacities to develop smart and sustainable growth, transferring the ChIMERA mentoring and capacity building process and its methodology for the growth of regional CCI subsectors. It will be implemented promoting sustainable urban development and implementing strategic action plans for the specific contexts involved.
The Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region - Department for culture and sports (Italy) is the lead beneficiary of this project in cooperation with Creative Apulia Cluster Association (Italy); Sarajevo Economic Regional Development Agency SERDA (Bosnia Herzegovina); Municipality of Nova Gorica (Slovenia); SARGA - Government of Aragon (Spain).
